This is the product I spoke of earlier when I said Dallas Bathtub Services has borrowed technology from the aerospace industry. Silane is a product that reacts with moisture ... or water. So the bonding agents will grab the coating and the coating is not paint. It is actually a polymer that closely resembles plastic in its dry form. This prevents the water from dissolving it. The Silane locks this polymer coating down not on top of the old surface, but into the old surface because of the etching process.
