Bathtub refinishing is a lot more then painting a bathtub, tile, shower or vanity with epoxy paint. Bathtub Refinishing also called bathtub resurfacing is the process of penetrating the old surface and chemically welding a new surface into the old. This is completed through the use of specialized chemicals and tools. Never should true bathtub refinishing involve epoxy paint.
As you can see in the picture below, the surface is first etched then coated with 5- 7 layers of synthetic porcelain which contains liquid glass. This gives a very tough surface that will last upwards of 20 years if properly taken care of. Dallas Bathtub Services
