I met a real nice older Gentleman today. The request he had for his 1950's era bathtub was, to be very honest the first time I heard it! He asked if I could do the bathtub in a low gloss look. The Bathtub had repairs it was rusted around the drain, it even had some pitting in the bottom of the tub. He wanted the tub to look good but did not want it to stand out as being new. So against all of my training I set out to give him a nice smooth surface with a low gloss as requested. I posted a couple of after pictures below. I really felt that if he would have allowed me to fully restore the bathtub it would have made the entire bathroom look better. However, The customer knew what he wanted and he was extremely happy.
