Hello! my name is johnny yarbrough. I wanted to give a quick bio so you know more about the person doing your work. I was baptized at Lake June Church of Christ on 8-19-1984. That church is no longer there, but it was a beautiful, welcoming congregation of all races where everyone was genuinely glad to be together. Sundays after church as a kid were spent on the playground while the adults talked—excellent memories I’ll cherish for life.
I graduated from Mesquite High School in 1991 and by 1993 was married. My only daughter was born in 1994. She was all we could have, and it was a great time! If I could go back and raise her again, I wouldn’t change a thing. We had so much fun— we even rode electric scooters all around the area when she was in elementary school.
I’m owner-operated now, but back then I ran a crew and owned a carpet restoration company in addition to Dallas Bathtub Refinishing Services. I had 3–5 workers on the carpet side with van-mounted units, and 2–3 on the refinishing side—plus I worked almost every day myself, usually Saturdays and some Sundays to stay ahead of the upcoming week. I sold off the carpet side in 2009 and focused on refinishing only—serving residential homes since 2013. As of 2025, I’m a small owner-operator again. It’s enjoyable and fun being able to talk with people and not rush.
I’ve been married for 32 years and my baby girl is 31. So please overlook it when I say, “lock this door when I leave”—that’s just the dad in me! I wanted to share some background and my blessings in life so you’d know a bit more about me before I come to your home. You’ll find me knowledgeable, experienced, polite, and respectful—and I would be genuinely disappointed if someone found me any other way.
As a Christian businessman, I keep in mind that scripture tells me to work each job as if I were working for the Lord. Your belief system is 100% your business, but I’m obligated by mine to be honest and to do my very best job. I’m here to serve you. I never “preach” or bring religion up, but I have to give the glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I may not have what a lot of people have, but I’ve been able to provide for my family through 30+ years in business, and I feel God’s hand guide me. It’s true that it rains on the just and unjust alike, but I try to keep my eyes on Jesus and praise Him through the good and the bad.
