Johnny Yarbrough Brief Bio

I shot Rifles on the M.H.S. R.O.T.C. Rifle Team - as odd as this sounds now a days, we carried .22 caliber rifles with 1000 rounds of ammo in rifle cases to the Olive drab green Ford Van outside Mesquite High School (1990 was my last year). R.O.T.C. taught me discipline, public speaking and marksmanship, where I won the Expert Marksmanship medal 2 years in a row. Prone. Kneeling. Standing. 1991 was my senior year of High School, instead of continuing with Rifle Team I took a trade class, learning business and started in the refinishing business. I started my own business in 1992 by 1993 I ran a crew of 5 people in vanity, shower, tile, and bathtub refinishing while purchasing van mounted carpet restoration equipment and had 4 people cleaning, flood and smoke damage remediation for commercial properties. I serviced refinishing and carpet restoration for 17 years with commercial accounts for the Apartments around the Lake Ray Hubbard area (Lake way Properties at that time) Servicing The Staubach Company, Lincoln Property Company, Simpson Property Group, Westdale Management Company. Also servicing Holiday Inn and Hyatt Regency Hotels. I sold the carpet restoration side with all equipment in 2008, then switching to only residential refinishing in 2013. 
As of 2026, I am an owner /  operated refinishing business bringing my over 30 + years of experience to each job I do. I love residential work because people own the homes and truly appreciate the work, it is more fulfilling. I have met so many genuinely great people here in the Dallas TX area.
