Hello! my name is Johnny Yarbrough (Video Introduction of myself - (opens in a new window). I will be the one coming to your home. I was born and raised in Mesquite, TX. I was Baptized 8-19-1984 at East Lake June Church of Christ. This was a very diverse Church of every race and it was Beautiful!  I Graduated Mesquite High School in 1991. My first accounts in 1992 were with Lincoln Property Company, Trammel Crow and Simpson Property Group for the next 17 years. I serviced these management companies plus added on the Holiday Inn Hotels. all the Condos and Apartments from Galloway Ave. to what is now Bass Pro Drive (Chaha Rd. in those days) on the I-30 corridor stretching from Mesquite TX to Garland TX. By 1993 I had my business off and running was married. My only daughter was born in 1994! We could only have one child but she was an absolute blessing ... If I could go back and do one thing over it would be to raise her again and not change a thing! That was the most fun I ever had!
Since I had the client base I also hired sub contractors and started a carpet restoration business, which was really taking off in the 1990's. I stayed small purchasing vans and van mounted equipment and employed about (5) people for the carpet side of the business. I continued the refinishing myself and ran (2) additional guys to help me with the refinishing side of the business. I usually worked 7 days a week most every week. I serviced mostly apartments and condos up until 2003. Then in 2003 while my crew serviced the apartment commercial clients, I started the residential side of refinishing! I sold off all of my carpet equipment in 2007 and focused 100% back on residential bathtub refinishing in Dallas.
As of 2024 I am a two man operation and I service all of the residential work myself! I have personally refinished thousands of Fiberglass, cultured marble and porcelain bathtub refinishing. Thousands of standup showers, jetted tubs along with tub and tile combinations in over 31 year career.

I want you to LOVE your new surface! I want your bathtub refinishing to look like a new tub was installed! I want you to absolutely love and enjoy your bathtub for years to come! This is why your Glossy White new surface will be chemically bonded with a product called silane coupling agent. I use the best quality that is very well tested so the new surface is chemically welded to the old surface. The new surface is a 100% polyester coating. It is made for Bathtub and tile refinishing. This coating is rated for a 20+ year lifespan! I apply the correct film thickness, the correct bonding agents with the goal of it lasting 20 + years. You simply can not find a tougher coating than water proof 100% polyester! You will never find some standard aliphatic acrylic urethane or Epoxy on my truck! I never buy it! I used it in the 1990's and early 2000's in apartments and hotels. So I am telling you from my personal experience!

Beneath the water line rated is completely waterproof, not water resistant. If cared for properly it will not fade, crack, chip or become chalky. It is superior in every way to standard Polyurethane and Epoxy paint! Polyester porcelain enamel has superior abrasion and chemical resistance! In fact, the only way to get a more durable surface would be to replace the bathtub or invest into a fiberglass bathtub liner... but why? Let's keep in mind replacing a bathtub, depending if doors need to be widened to get the new bathtub in. Also depending on the tile selection because the first several rows of tile would come down for replacement will average over $6,000.00 or more with tile, plumbers and different contractors needed. You may know a contractor that can do it cheaper, please understand I am quoting prices for average home owners that want the job completed right.
  • A bathtub liner is a fail because I have personally seen them move with our Texas soil and then trap water between the liner and tub causing very bad odors along with mold and mildew. The consumer should also keep in mind no refinishing will give you the perfection of a factory baked on porcelain tub or tile. We are working in an environment that has dust and hair. Although I do my very best to control that and most customers reaction is "it looks brand new" the truth is If you want to look hard enough you will find very minor imperfections. (honesty is the best policy).
  • Dallas Bathtub refinishing polyester porcelain bathtub and tile permanent surfaces. The old surface is first etched which creates microscopic scratches in the old surface called pores. This etching process creates a mechanical bond.   • Silane coupling agent uses that condensation to activate forming a chemical weld that locks the two surfaces together causing the new surface to integrate with the old surface through the bathtub refinishing process or tile refinishing process!
  • I will then apply 2 coats of an immersion rated epoxy bonding agent. This gives a tremendous amount of impact resistance in addition to superior bonding (in case things are dropped). I have been told that is a waste of time, it's an overkill on bathtub refinishing. Well, that is okay. I would rather waste an additional few minutes to provide a superior job! However, in my testing I have found it to be very beneficial! The final coating applied that I use is 100% polyester (low V.O.C.) Polyester coating (made for the Dallas bathtub and tile refinishing Industry). Polyester bathtub refinishing is a smooth, white, glossy surface that mimics the look of factory baked on porcelain please remember factory bathtubs are baked on porcelain at over 2000 (f) for 12 hours which simply can not be duplicated in the customers home. However, Polyester bathtub refinishing coating is a water proof, highly chip resistant, highly scratch resistant surface that is rated as a 20 year coating made for the bathtub and tile refinishing Industry! This refinishing process works on Fiberglass, porcelain, acrylic and Cultured Marble bathtub surfaces.
