In the video  below you can tell I am frustrated. The surface is peeling off the tub in sheets. This had only been refinished by another company 6 months prior (the home owners said).

• 0:00 - 0:25 - that coating is flaking off by rubbing my hand over the non bonded, brittle surface.
  
• 0:25- 0:35 - using 2 fingers you see how I peel large pieces of the surface off. You can see I'm frustrated and my face is red from second hand embarrassment! This tub was not bonded and it was applied very dry! This tub had a 10 year warranty and they refused to correct it! Just a terrible dark cloud over our industry! The homeowners just wanted it done! 
  
• 0:35-057 You could see the difference they said. In other words the tub was not that glossy and smooth when it was completed by the other company. I used silane coupling agent to tie the old and new surface together. The finish coat is polyester top coat that forms a very hard surface.

The process I use in a synergistic process the integrates the new polyester finish deep into the old surface. This is much different than typical refinishing that paints an Epoxy paint coating on top of the old surface.
In the video above we see how the Epoxy paint has failed in only a matter of weeks leaving the home owners and me frustrated (Almost 6 months They told me).

• Etching of the old surface accomplished with a spun fiber disc rotating at over 2600 RPM. Absolutely no harmful and dangerous acids are used.
• A molecular bonding agent that is hand rubbed into the pores and scratches caused by the etching process. This uses nano technology that bonds on a molecular level.
• H.V.L.P application of a base agent that includes the same molecular bonding agent that was hand rubbed into the pores of the old surface. This allows the entire surface to become a magnet ready to chemically the weld the finish coat both into and onto the new surface.
• The final major step is the application of the polyester finish coat. This is not an  epoxy paint it is far superior! This polyester surface was made specifically for the bathtub and tile refinishing Industry. Excellent chemical & abrasion resistance, plus color and gloss retention.
  Once Cured coating equals the results of the best baked on Powder Coat finishes.
