Updated: Under orders from Judge Clay Jenkins : Bathtub refinishing is considered elective remodeling and NOT essential infrastructure construction. Like a lot of business owners I went from staying booked weeks in advance to customers wanting to cancel Mid February 2020. I was taking on about 1 - 2  jobs per week thru the end of February. March was so dead I was ready to just shut down anyway and wait it out. Trying to survive from my savings and afraid to even order product or advertising not knowing when I would be deemed non essential. However, the updated mandate on March 30, 2020 made it clear and definitely not wanting to chance making other people sick or bringing a sickness into my home and around my elderly parents definitely makes this a very unprecedented time that caught all of us off guard.

Confusing Times In Deed

Our small businesses and economy will be trying to recover from this for years to come. It took me several years to recover from the 9-11-2001 attacks. It took me years to recover from the 2008 recession and this is looking to make that look small in comparison.  May God Bless and heal us all!!
