Best way to Clean a Bathtub after Refinishing

Dallas bathtub refinishing will always leave cleaning instructions with my customers. Most customers know not to use any type of abrasive cleaners on a refinished surface. However, most do not know that most bathroom cleaners will damage not only refinished surfaces but also will slowly degloss factory baked fixtures. You never want to use any product that says "citrus" on it. Some will also say "acid". These cleaners contain the oil from the skin of citrus such as oranges, lemons and lime. That oil is called D-Limonine it is an acid and will ruin your refinishing, as well as any factory finish over time.
I want you to keep a glossy, clean surface for years to come! The best cleaner for refinished surfaces is Dawn power wash, which is available at most stores in the dish detergent section. You can also make your own formula using about 3 tablespoons of Dawn dish soap. a few cap fulls of Rubbing alcohol and the rest water in a quart spray bottle (using the old dawn power wash bottle works best) it has a built in aerator. This makes an excellent cleaner for refinished surfaces and also to prevent damage to your non refinished surfaces.
